The twin room felt a bit cramped, especially with a compact en suite that, while utilizing space well, made the showering experience a challenge due to partially fixed hose. Though the rural setting provided glorious views, the small wall-mounted TV unexpectedly had decent reception, but it would have been nicer to have a better variety of shows. Breakfast could benefit from fresh coffee instead of instant, and I missed the opportunity to see the pudding menu—they didn't offer it at all, leaving my sweet tooth unsatisfied.

The vibe at White Horse Inn Pulverbatch is welcoming from the start. The historic charm really stands out with sloping floors and unique décor. My twin room was cozy, featuring a kettle and a flat-screen TV. The bed was super comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. I enjoyed the fantastic views of the countryside right from my window. Breakfast proved to be a highlight—hearty full English served in a lovely setting by the inglenook fireplace. I also appreciated the ample parking space. the shower hose could use some adjustments for better targeting. I was disappointed that I wasn’t offered the dessert menu after dinner, as I wanted to indulge in something sweet. That aside, the overall experience was delightful with friendly staff and great food.
